My paintings form by tuning into my intuition &
letting my paintbrush lead the way, embracing chance and the random……
What inspires me, what fires me? My paintings are a spilling of my soul. My work references the natural world and contains all the landscapes I have ever travelled through, all the paintings I have ever loved, and the music that sang to me.
Although superficially disparate, there are several repeating themes and motifs running through my paintings.
The bird and feathers; as a symbol of freedom and the fox as a symbol of all that is magical and uniquely beautiful in nature.
I want my work to highlight in a subtle way the preciousness of this fragile planet.
